In the complex, high-stakes field of corporate accountability and human rights, the Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB) provides an impartial space for dialogue and analysis to deepen understanding of human rights challenges and the appropriate role of business. This is particularly important when it comes to foreign investment in high-risk conflict areas like Myanmar, an emerging market with enormous potential for economic and social development, but fraught with risks of corporate complicity in human rights abuses.
Join IHRB’s Policy Director Salil Tripathi, a seasoned expert on the intersection of business and human rights, for an introduction to IHRB’s work and its project to ensure that existing and new investments in Myanmar are consistent with international human rights standards and best practices.
The discussion will be held in the Conference Room of the Leitner Center for International Justice, 33 West 60th Street, Second Floor, New York, NY.
Capacity is limited, so please
