Please join us for the launch of the United Nations Population Fund University Network!
The UNFPA University Network (called TransformU) is a membership-based network that invites institutions of higher education, continuing education and educational associations to join UNFPA’s vision to end preventable maternal deaths, end the unmet need for family planning, and the elimination of gender-based violence. Together, these areas are called the “three zeros.”
The goal of TransformU is to create a vibrant and diverse network that develops and implements activities to promote the three zeros. These activities include research, internships and the co-creation of projects at national and global levels. The goal of the network is to become a global resource for programme and policy research, education and service delivery on the three zeros. This will be accomplished by establishing an international platform for the academic community; by developing a portfolio of relevant education and training programmes; and by fostering interaction between academicians, researchers and policy-makers.
