In her role as Associate Legal Counsel, Maria Alejandra Serra Barney supports Greenpeace’s climate justice and liability strategies, and advises on biodiversity issues. Prior to joining Greenpeace International, Maria Alejandra worked in human rights and labour law compliance in Colombia, where she is a registered Attorney. She also holds an LL.M. degree in International Law and Human Rights (Environmental Law Specialization) from Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
