Leitner Center and Professor Paolo Galizzi Honored by the Association of Ghanaian Lawyers of America for Work on Rule of Law in Ghana

New York, NY (September 17, 2015) – The Leitner Center for International Law and Justice is pleased to announce that the Association of Ghanaian Lawyers of America (AGLA) will honor the Leitner Center and Professor Paolo Galizzi, Director of the Sustainable Development Legal Initiative, at AGLA’s dinner for our work in helping to advance rule of law in Ghana. The dinner will be held at The Gran Centurions in Clark, New Jersey on September 19, 2015.

The Center and Professor Galizzi have worked on a number of initiatives in Ghana, including capacity building with the Judicial Service, working to improve access to justice, helping to pilot a clerkship program for the Supreme Court of Ghana, and hosting Ghanaian judges and scholars as LL.M. students at Fordham Law School.
