Mahum Shabir is a third-year law student at the City University of New York, School of Law. Previously, she worked with the Jammu and Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society – a movement lawyering organization dedicated to representing victims of disappearance, torture, and sexual violence in Indian-controlled Kashmir. She has a B.A. from Harvard College in Government.
