On July 26, 2010, the ECCC rendered its verdict against KAING Guek Eav alias Duch, the first person to stand trial before the ECCC. Duch served as Chairman of the S-21 security centre, which interrogated and executed upwards of 12,000 persons perceived as enemies of the Khmer Rouge.

Please join us to welcome the new Crowley Fellow, Daniel McLaughlin, as he discusses his experience working for the ECCC on this trial.
